Who We Are
The Accreditation Commission for Integrative Sciences (ACIS)
is the governing authority for academic and professional integrity in the fields of Trichology, Holistic Medicine, and Integrative Health Sciences.
We serve as a non-governmental accrediting body, establishing measurable standards that ensure educational institutions deliver quality, evidence-based, and ethically grounded programs.
Our mission is to safeguard the credibility, quality, and ethics of these disciplines worldwide through accreditation, certification, and continuing education oversight.
Our credentialing arm, the International Board of Trichology & Holistic Medicine (IBTHM), evaluates practitioner competence and issues Board Certifications that distinguish qualified professionals in the global marketplace.
Together, ACIS and IBTHM safeguard the credibility of Trichology, Herbal Medicine, and Holistic Health—ensuring that those who serve the public do so with verified standards of competency, skill, integrity, and professionalism, giving clients and the public confidence in their care.

What We Do

Practitioner Certification (IBTHM)
Through the International Board of Trichology & Holistic Medicine (IBTHM), we credential Trichologists and Holistic Health Practitioners who demonstrate verified knowledge, practical skill, and ethical integrity. Practitioners earn board credentials that validate their expertise and commitment to excellence. Certification demonstrates proficiency, professionalism, and a dedication to lifelong learning within the field of integrative sciences. Our certifications establish global credibility and validates professional expertise for practitioners worldwide.

Institutional Accreditation (ACIS)
We accredit colleges, academies, and training programs through the Accreditation Commission for Integrative Sciences (ACIS). Our rigorous review process ensures institutions meet the highest standards in curriculum, faculty, and student outcomes. Accreditation confirms institutional credibility and assures that graduates are well-prepared to serve in their professions.

Continuing Education Oversight
We oversee and approve Continuing Education (CE) providers and programs to guarantee that practitioners remain current, competent, and compliant with evolving integrative health sciences and standards of practice. Our oversight maintains the integrity and advancement of the integrative health professions.
